Important
Information on Parking
Please be advised that on-street parking in downtown Jersey City is
reserved for residents only.
Non-residents cannot park for more than two hours at a time.
Jersey City also has alternate-side street cleaning regulations; that
is, for certain periods during each week, no parking is permitted at
all. If you are not used to urban living, these regulations may be new
to you and could cause serious inconvenience.
Parking regulations are strictly enforced and fines are levied by
a special crew of parking enforcement officers. Fines are in excess of
$40 for each violation.
Our best advice for avoiding parking fines is: do not bring
your car to Jersey City. Public transportation is convenient,
inexpensive, and more than adequate. If you can manage without a car,
we advise that you do so. If you cannot, then be prepared to pay for
parking in a local lot (expensive) or to move your car every two hours
(inconvenient).
We regret that we are unable to provide parking for our tenants.
